2025 Fully Funded Chevening Scholarship for International Students at the University of Leicester

The University of Leicester is currently accepting applications for the Chevening-Leicester Scholarships, in partnership with the Chevening International Scholarship. These scholarships offer students the opportunity to pursue a one-year postgraduate research program.

About the Scholarship:

The University of Leicester is launching a new scholarship initiative that will support two fully funded scholarships for the 2025-26 academic year. Recipients will receive a return airfare, a full tuition fee waiver, a stipend for living costs and other allowances to support their studies at the University of Leicester.

Funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and partner organizations, Chevening offers individuals with the potential to inspire positive change the opportunity to study at a UK university and gain a UK educational qualification. Chevening Scholars study a diverse range of subjects and go on to implement their ideas for positive change in various sectors.

Eligibility Criteria for the Scholarship:

Eligible applicants must be from Chevening eligible countries (excluding India) and studying a one-year taught Masters course within specific departments at the University of Leicester, starting in September 2025. Additionally, applicants must fulfill standard Chevening requirements, including work experience, citizenship, and commitment to returning to their home country.
